Rape, violence, injuries to senior citizens
In the first quarter of 2009 there were nine reports of rape, 133 of domestic violence and two of grievous injury to senior citizens, Justice Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici told Parliament yesterday.
Answering a question by Labour MP Noel Farrugia, he said that investigations into six of the nine cases of rape had been concluded. Two people had been arraigned in court over two cases; another had been charged with making a false report; and two others had been charged but it had been found that they were not cases of rape but of defilement of minors. Another case had been given up.

Justice Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici, you forgot to includ the respect taken out from senior citizens at the Law Courts MALTA. You better remove the system were one has a job for ever, other wise our RIGHTS are taken away and evedence tempered with. Full story will be published when time is right. What is the use of having Laws on a web site and then.....
