Whose choice exactly?
Whatever happened to the grandiose pharmacy of your choice scheme?
It has become the "pharmacy of his choice", that's what. And by "his" I mean Lawrence Gonzi and his choice is (and always was) the north of the island. What has Dingli Cliffs got that Żonqor Point hasn't? Is it pharmacies, people or what?
Dr Gonzi, forget the light bulbs of your choice and give us the pharmacies of our choice.

We were promised Doctors of our choise!!!!!! We were promised Pharmacies of our choise!!!!!! It seems that we are hardly going to have "polyclinics" Health centres, the way they were created created to perform way back in the 70's. It seems It was better those days!!!

Some people have the privilege and some don't. It is downright disgusting and degrading to go to a government dispensary to collect medicines. One has to queue rain or shine. It
is outright discrimination that some people can go to the pharmacy of their choice and some simply can't.

Unfortunatly i am a husband of a pharmacist and since the Pharmacy of your choice scheme started my wife really lost her joy in her profession. She has been transformed into a computor clerk, wasting all her time in front of a pc trying to sort out the system, having to deal with government employees because of Out of Stock problems, being insulted all the time by clients who expect miracles and leaving clients who want to pay for medicins and asking for advice to be served by cashiers or salesgirls. Every evening after a day's work she comes back home depressed. I honestly suggest students who are thinking of starting a pharmacy course at university to find another course that one day will make them professionals respected by all.

Didn`t you know Frank, the scheme is dead, they have no idea how to run it.
It`s simplicity in itself, you go to the doctor, you get your prescription and collect your medicine. This is supposed to have started some fifteen years ago. Do you remember Louis Deguara`s family free doctor, hat is dead and buried too. Had the scheme been put into operation we wouldn`t have the problems that we are having at present with the Health Centres.
