Sharon Ellul Bonici tells Herman Grech in a six-minute interview that she does not think that the PL selected her to be a candidate so that she could attract the euro sceptic vote but, rather, because her work as a staff member within the European Parliament over the past five years.

She also defends her campaigning for the Irish referendum No vote on the Lisbon treaty, and says that as a result, the Lisbon treaty is now better, for Ireland, but also for Malta.

The PL candidate also replies to a question on how she is funding her expensive electoral campaign.
