Man charged with abusing daughter, 12

A 41-year-old man from Cottonera was yesterday charged with sexually abusing his 12-year-old daughter.

The man was allegedly caught in the act on Thursday by police officers who saw him forcing himself onto the girl in his car, police sources said.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to the charges.
