NASA postponed the return to Earth of space shuttle Atlantis due to bad weather at the Florida landing site, a NASA official said.

Atlantis had been scheduled to touch down at the Kennedy Space Center at at 1539 GMT to conclude an 11-day mission to refurbish the Hubble Space Telescope.

NASA decided to forego both landing attempts today and try again tomorrow.
