Citizen's role in tourist's satisfaction

It is very heartening to see the streets of Valletta at times full to the brim with foreign visitors; I dare say that statistics would show that there has been a drop in the amount of tourists to our islands.

However positively we seem to be holding our own despite the global financial problems. At the moment it is of utmost importance to ensure visitors are 100 per cent satisfied.

Tourists, especially from the sterling area, are making big sacrifices to still afford to come to places like Malta so let us all ensure that their faith in us is rewarded. In some way this could be an ideal opportunity to get rid of the label "cheap holiday destination" and change it to "better value for money destination". Every single one of us can help.
