They used to roam the streets and fields. Now they are objects of a show.

Dingli Local Council will be holding its sixth traditional sheep and goat show on Sunday May 31 at Gnien il-Haddiem, Magdalene Street, Dingli.

The activity, which starts at 8 a.m., is open to all sheep and goat breeders in Malta.

Besides displaying the animals and milking, this year's show includes traditional folk music (Ghana)and the inclusion of the ‘sheep dogs’.
