The Federation for Hunting and Conservation - Malta (FKNK) would like to publicly thank the administration of the Italian national TV station RAI 3 for Monday's screening of their programme titled Geo Geo.

After excusing themselves for a Geo Geo programme of last March, wherein they showed doubtful scenes of illegal hunting (mounted scenes from the usual non-credible anti-hunting lobby), they said that apparently such illegal hunting no longer takes place in Malta and proceeded with a beautiful feature about the Maltese islands' history and culture.

The FKNK, with the help of its Italian Hunters' Organisation within FACE, had lodged a strong complaint about the Geo Geo March programme with RAI 3 and the Italian Embassy in Malta. Just last week the FKNK was advised of today's transmission by RAI 3, and this morning by means of a telephone call from the Italian Ambassador in Malta in person.
