Melita Marine Group, the Mediterranean-based group of companies with head offices in Malta which offer a variety of marine services, recently took part in the MYBA Charter Show 2009 in Genoa, Italy.

During the show, Melita Marine launched the M.Y. Sundene, the first superyacht at the show to be presented under the Maltese commercial flag.

This was the 21st edition of the show, reputably one of the most important international exhibitions dedicated to charter professionals and superyachts. Melita Marine Group has been exhibiting at the show for the past 16 years.

The event, a select showcase for luxury charter yachts and the most exclusive display of ancillary services for the yachting industry, is attended by the most prestigious charter agencies and brokers globally. The show's continued success is highlighted by the number and quality of attendees over the years. "The MYBA is a good platform for Melita Marine Group to communicate what we are all about and how our services throughout the Mediterranean benefit the yachting industry with customised solutions," said Pierre Balzan, chairman of the Group. "This year's participation marks another important milestone in our business with the introduction of the Sundene on our exclusive portfolio to cater for specific markets."
