Leo's party is in government, how will the hard decisions be taken? Hmm, let's see. Shall I introduce VAT? Nope, public opinion might be against that. Shall I introduce the Euro? Hmm ahjar le ta' ... Dr Muscat, you know we would have to reign in deficit and we all know public opinion on that! What is it exactly that this supposedly alternative government-in-waiting is saying? What is Joseph Muscat's new PL exactly?
This is pathetic.
Malta needs strong politicians that lead the way and not follow. We need leaders that take the hard decisions. We need leaders that look at the big picture. Joe Muscat will not take the right decision but the one that in his mind brings him most votes. Just like Alfred Sant before him, the party first and the nation a poor second.
Even on windfarms, Labour's position depends on which way they think the wind is blowing!
