"Halving Green support obtained in 2004 in a conservative estimate, the Greens will still poll over 10,000 votes. With the PN at a low ebb after 20 years in office, the Greens cannot enjoy such support without making it impossible for the PN to beat the MLP in a one-to-one shoot out.
"When it comes to committing to a coalition, we will have to put behind us all the acrimony of the election campaign. We will have to find a way to cooperate with our recent rivals" (Alternattiva Demokratika website - February 19, 2008).
"The Labour Party and Alternattiva Demokratika could work together within a movement for progressives and moderates" (PL leader Joseph Muscat - The Times, June 22, 2008). "The experience of the two parties (PL - Alternattiva) in EU institutions should enable them to work in a collaborative spirit" (AD chairman Arnold Cassola - The Times, June 22, 2008).
Any comments on my part are superfluous.
