Charged with stealing four vans
A man from Valletta was charged yesterday with stealing four vans in the space of three months.
Raymond Borg, 39, denied the charges but was remanded in custody.
In a separate arraignment, an Egyptian man from Ħamrun denied threatening another person with a knife on Friday evening.
Samir Tawdrous, 42, pleaded not guilty to holding someone against their will and being in possession of a knife without a licence. He was also remanded him in custody.
Police Inspector Joseph Agius prosecuted.
