Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand should be fit for the Champions League final but will miss tomorrow's Premier League match against Arsenal, manager Alex Ferguson said today.

The England international is recovering from a calf injury which will keep him out of tomorrow's home game, when United need just a point to secure the Premier League title.

"I'm sure he'll be available for the final but it's one of these calf niggles that usually take 10 days to two weeks," Ferguson told reporters.

Ferdinand, who missed last weekend's 2-0 win over Manchester City and Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic, could feature against Hull City next Sunday, three days before United face Barcelona in Rome.

"We're giving him his treatment for these kinds of injuries and he's come along but he's not available for tomorrow (against Arsenal) but hopefully he'll be ready for next Sunday," said Ferguson.
