Three trade unions which yesterday declared an industrial dispute with the GO Group, said today that they had suspended the dispute following a conciliation meeting.

The GWU, the UHM, and the Union of Maltacom Graduates said yesterday they had declared an industrial dispute following a letter from the GO Group CEO, David Kay, where he urged workers to take up early retirement schemes and warned there would be dismissals if sufficient take-up was not achieved.

The unions said that at today's meeting, GO had shown it was ready to compromise.
