Police find drugs on yacht

The police have arrested two British men and a Maltese woman after finding cocaine, cannabis and cannabis resin on a yacht berthed at Manoel Island.

The discovery was made yesterday afternoon after a tipoff and a search which took several hours.

The police said the search yielded more than 60 grams of cocaine, a small amount of cannabis resin, more than 25g of grass and weighing scales.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano appointed experts to hold an inquiry.

Th arrested men are two Britons aged 40 and 41 and a 49-year-old woman from Swieqi.

A search in the woman's house in Swieqi yielded a small amount of cocaine, cabbanis resin and grass.
