Heroin found at Zejtun residence

The police said today that they are investigating the discovery of heroin in a Zejtun house last week.

The Drug Squad said heroin was found in packets as well as in a bag. A 28-year-old man from Zejtun and a 29-year-old from Ghaxaq were arrested.

The police said another seven persons aged between 17 and 26, were arrested for drug possession at a party near Luqa. They were carrying cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy.
