Liquigas Malta and Gasco Energy, two new companies set up for the distribution and marketing, and the storage and bottling of LPG Gas respectively, have appointed Stephen Muscat as chief financial officer and company secretary.

Mr Muscat, 41, is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accounts, and a certified public accountant by profession. He joins Liquigas and Gasco after working for over 20 years in the manufacturing industry, 14 of these with Dedicated Micros Malta.

He was appointed member of the board of the Malta Maritime Authority last year and also sits on the authority's audit committee. He is also currently honorary secretary of the Malta Employers' Association.
