Suspended jail term for prostituting 17-year-old

A 23-year-old man was given a suspended jail term after admitting to prostituting a 17-year-old girl and participating in sexual acts with her.

The defence and the prosecution agreed that there was something worth saving in the man and magistrate Silvio Meli handed him a two year jail term suspended for four.
