While the waters of the Grand Harbour will foam up with the speed of the P1 powerboats on Sunday, land at the Valletta Waterfront will provide visitors a feast of the most spectacular cars, old and new.
As part of its Roaring Sundays programme running until October, the Valletta Waterfront is bringing together three exciting motor clubs exhibiting an extraordinary line-up of classics.
The new Toyota Vintage Club will display a carefully chosen range of classic Toyotas. The highlight of this club's exhibits will be one of the last remaining Toyopet Tiaras found in Europe.
Also on display will be Club Del Sol Malta, with an eclectic mix of colours, designs and bumpers. Among the Del Sols on display will also be a model fitted with custom-made Lamborghini doors.
Complementing this already exciting display will be the Mazda MX-5 Club.
Exhibits will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Commenting on the coordination of the various activities outlined, Joshua Giordimaina, marketing executive for Viset Malta plc, developers and operators of the Valletta Waterfront, said: "The public visiting the Valletta Waterfront on this particular weekend will surely enjoy a memorable display of creativity, history and power in one destination."
Roaring Sundays is being organised by the Valletta Waterfront with the collaboration of the Malta Motorsport Federation, Paqpaq TV and M-150 still energy drink.
