Valletta car park project

I am constrained to make one last remark on the St George's Square car park project by referring to the letter of Miriam Cremona and Noel Galea Bason, two ex-VFRC Members, that appeared on April 30.

Because I am always ethically correct I had already stated in The Times that these two were always against any underground projects and that they had always backed me in trying to get funding for the documentation and restoration of all underground spaces in Valletta. They can in no way, however, deny the fact that the Valletta and Floriana Rehabilitation Committee had approved such a project since the mid-1990s, had drawn up plans for the car park and had repeatedly listed it in the pending projects list.

I only did my duty at the time by referring this to the Minister at the time.
