Planning authority employees are following industrial action ordered by their representative union following a dispute with the management over their working conditions.

Mepa employees are not using any means of communication, not attending any scheduled meetings with clients or management, and not investigating any complaints.

The Technical and Clerical Union said a meeting with Employment and Industrial Relations director Noel Vella will be set in due course.
