With reference to the article on the Magic Kiosk (April 29) and it being a "landmark" since the 1980s, may I mention that it has also been a landmark and meeting place to me, my family and friends since the 1960s! The original "kiosk" was just that, a round kiosk.

I'm sure St Anne Square, in Sliema, with its new design, will be an equally popular place and I look forward to enjoying the finished project but I will still miss the "Magic Kiosk".
