"School activities which are not part of our system are most likely to result in students unable to succeed in exams. Stop wasting time of our students and let's focus on real schooling"
I completely disagree with your line of thinking. What you call "real schooling" makes it really boring. Such activities every now and then help the students to participate and gives them self esteem, something which, believe me, lacks in quite a big number of students. I know students who attend one of the secondary church schools which continually organises sports days, akkademias, bikeathlon amongst other activities during the scholatic year, and these students get brilliant results. I believe that some students are just missing the opportunity to learn for the simple reason that they do not want to learn, not because of having other activities. The opportunity to learn is there, they are just kicking it away. Don't blame it on such activities.
Congratulations to all those who are organising and taking part in this marathon. Good luck!!

The activity has the purpose to sensibiles students about those suffering around us and gives them an opportunity to do something for others. Most students will participate in the activity through out the day as this is an extracurricular activity which students and ex students will remeber when they grow up.

School activities which are not part of our system are most likely to result in students unable to succeed in exams. Stop wasting time of our students and let's focus on real schooling rather than asking students knocking on doors begging for money. I am not saying that the event should not be held but students coming from this particular school lose lots of lessons due to activities organized which are far more frequent then the lessons. Puttinu Cares need lots of money and I agree but such activities are not making our students brighter.
