Several mentions of this Festival have been made in your newspaper but not one explains much about it. We are told that the programme runs over two days. Can someone please explain why and what goes on. It is a competion as well as a spectacle and because it heralds the good weather in, we can expect throngs of people to attend. It would make it more interesting to read some background and more information. Thank you.

Yesterday, Thursday 30th April, at about 23:15 there was a fireworks show set off from one of the barges in the midst of the port. It was a ten/fifteen minutes show... i do not think it was a testing... and it was splendidly performed. It was a bit of a surprise and was lucky enough to be still awake... thanks
