Model engineers are exhibiting their wares at the Scouts headquarters in Floriana until Sunday.

The display, put up annually by the Association of Model Engineers, includes aircraft, armoured fighting vehicles, dioramas, crafts, engineering works, figures, marine and space craft, science fiction, trains and war gaming.

Entrance to the exhibition, open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., is free.

The Association of Model Engineers was set up in 1983 and caters for people with a special interest in model engineering and scale modelling. It helps members achieve excellence.

Throughout the past 26 years AME members have been successful in winning prestigious awards at the Model Engineer Exhibition in London, the Euro Militaire in Folkestone, Kent, and the Centro Siciliano Modellismo Storico Model show in Catania, among others.
