The Homes of Quality three-day competition at the Royal Malta Golf Club (RMGC) is played on a Thursday, for the women, and Saturday, for men, before the top 72 in both categories play again on the Sunday.
Women golfers had a really unfortunate day, the weather was awful and the competition was postponed for a couple of hours. Only 21 dared venture for the competition.
The men had a much improved day and final results indicated the more clement weather conditions.
Only 10 women golfers qualified for the final 72, the leaders being Manuela Roth, Jenny Scicluna and Monica Borain (women), and Paul Gray Nicky Laferla and Michael Balzan (men).
Gray eventually emerged winner followed by Stephen Potts. Roth won the women's competition.
Frank Salt was present on the final day to distribute prizes, including a a week holiday in Tuscany.
