"All our 10 routes from Malta have been a massive success."

Ryanair today announced a new service between Malta and Madrid, the 11th route from Malta by the low cost airline.

Ryanair already operates the Barcelona-Malta route.

Airline spokesman Luis Fernandez-Mellado said they expected this route to be a huge success and the number of passengers to go through the roof.

"All our 10 routes from Malta have been a massive success."

The new route will operate three frequencies a week from July 14 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ryanair is also offering one million seats from just €10 one way including airport taxes and charges. The offer ends at midnight on Monday.
