The second issue of the Miranda World Heritage Sites in Malta 360° collection of magazines published with The Times monthly will be out tomorrow.
With over 60 pages of stunning photography and scholarly text, Museums of Malta 360° covers a diverse range of local museums spanning archaeology and fine arts, aviation and cars, parish museums, underground ones and even toy and banking museums.
Museums have developed beyond recognition and nowadays they depict the country's heritage in the best light. In their range and depth, they represent what the ancient Greeks used to call thymos, our spirit.
The Miranda 360° collection is printed by Progress Press, a member of the Allied Group. Tomorrow's issue is the company's first magazine to be printed on FSC certified paper.
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international, non-profit organisation founded in 1993 to promote the responsible management of the world's forests and help ensure that they will not be destroyed for future generations.
Products that carry the FSC label are independently, third-party-certified according to the requirements of FSC-STD-40-004 to assure consumers that the paper originates from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. This standard requires that the chain of custody of the material is maintained and assured throughout the supply chain from the forest to the end user.
Progress Press achieved FSC certification in January.
Tomorrow, the price of The Times will be €1.
