A 55-year-old man whose decomposing body was found at his residence in Pieta last night had died of cardiac respiratory failure, the autopsy has found.

In an earlier statement today the police said the discovery was made by relatives.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is holding an inquiry. The police Drug Squad is involved in the inquiries.
