Malta Medical Tourism Summit on July 13 and 14

A Malta Medical Tourism Summit is to take place on July 13 and 14 at the Hilton Malta. The event is being organised by the Europe Business Assembly which runs multinational business events worldwide.

The medical tourism industry has enjoyed rapid growth over the past few years as more and more patients travel outside of their own countries in search of cheaper and better facilities particularly for surgical, dental and cosmetic procedures. The Malta Medical Tourism Summit will focus on the key issues and concerns being raised for travelling patients and also focus on Malta as a destination for medical tourists.

The Maltese healthcare system was recently ranked number five in the world by the World Health Organisation and with the availability of excellent facilities, temperate climate and English speaking population. Malta is well placed to raise its profile as a destination for patients and enjoy the subsequent economic benefits that this will have on attracting tourism to the island.

With the growing interest in the excellent facilities available in Malta, the conference has attracted an international panel of speakers from the US, Canada, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Scandinavia who, over the course of the two-day agenda, will present to over 130 delegates attending from all over the world.

Steve Hambrook, conference director for the Europe Business Assembly said: "This is an ideal opportunity for Maltese hospitals, dental clinics, cosmetic surgeries, spa and aftercare facilities to demonstrate what they have offer to an audience that can actually help them to gain a greater share of international patient travel".

The conference offers numerous sponsorship and branding opportunities for Maltese medical service providers. These can be tailored to suit personal budget and requirements.
