The Broadcasting Authority has granted a licence to Calypso Media Communications to provide a digital terrestrial television broadcasting service.

This new service shall be known as Calypso Music Television. The licence is initially valid until the April 20, 2010. The channel will broadcast exclusively on the Go network, Channel number 107.

This is the first television licence to be issued by the Broadcasting Authority this year.

Last year, two television licences were issued to Family Television Network and Favourite Channel.
