The European Institute of Education has been appointed representative and student recruiting agency for the UK's third ranking business school, Cranfield University School of Management.

The top international business school, which ranks eighth in Europe, brings together a range of management disciplines through a significant portfolio of activities that includes research and consultancy, postgraduate masters and doctoral programmes, executive development courses, conferences and customised programmes.

The agreement was signed in Cranfield by EIE president Antonello Cappitta and Head of the School of Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations Management at EIE Andrew Saliba.

Through this agreement EIE can recruit students for Cranfield from its Malta headquarters and from its centres around the world. Cranfield does not run distance learning programmes and students are required to read for their degrees on campus.

Mr Saliba, a Cranfield alumnus himself, said that the heart of Cranfield University's programmes is a knowledgeable and supportive faculty - highly regarded experts who deliver cutting edge ideas centred on acclaimed research.

For more than 40 years, Cranfield School of Management has been helping individuals and businesses across the world learn and transform knowledge into action. It has 12,000 alumni in more than 120 countries.

Licensed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, EIE already operates educational programmes ranging from certificate to Master's degrees from its centre in Malta (head office), and from other centres in the UK, Czech Republic, Georgia, Malaysia, Cyprus, Jordan, Sri Lanka and Singapore.

Students who are ready to further their studies at Cranfield can apply for funds through the Strategic Educational Pathways Scholarships (STEPS), a scholarship scheme launched by the government and co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund (ESF). Another call for applications, as part of this scheme, is to open on May 1.
