A man already facing theft charges appeared in court yesterday again charged with theft, from eight houses, a marine boats store and a garden centre.

Kenneth Ellul, 34, who was remanded in custody after being arraigned in connection with other theft charges, is denying stealing under €2,239 in cash and household items between September 2007 and October 2008 from the places indicated in the charge sheet.

As he is in custody he cannot be granted bail.
