An initiative by NnG Promotions and supported by HSBC will give some 200 children between the age of seven and 15 the opportunity to be part of the choir accompanying the National Philharmonic Orchestra during the concert by Joseph Calleja and Michael Bolton at the Luxol Grounds in Pembroke on July 19.

Applicants may pick up a form from any HSBC branch in Malta and Gozo and return it to NnG Promotions by Monday May 11. Children are not required to have a background in music but shall undergo an audition on May 16 and 17. Selected applicants will receive formal training by soprano Gillian Zammit between end of May and mid July.

“Over the years, HSBC has been an important partner in supporting our endeavours to bring world artists to the Maltese stage,” said NnG’s Anton Attard. “This initiative to give kids the opportunity of a lifetime to perform with two world giants in music further confirms HSBC’s commitment to assist Maltese talent reach new heights.”
