The outstanding payments which Mepa owes contractors for the period between November 2008 and the end of January 2009 amount to €718,902.85, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi told Roderick Gales (PL) in reply to a parliamentary question.

Mepa also owes €162,671.35 in refunds on permit applications between November 2008 and the end of February 2009.
