Roaring Sunday at the Waterfront

Various Jaguar luxury cars owned by the members of the Malta Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, and bikes from the Bike Boyz Malta Club, will be on display this Sunday at the Valletta Waterfront as part of the Roaring Sundays programme running.

This spectacular exhibition will take place from 10 am till 2 pm giving motoring aficionados, and the public at large, a feast of elegance and raw power rarely brought together in one event.

Some of the highlights the Malta Jaguar Enthusiasts Club will put on display include the XK120, the first post-war sports car manufactured by the marquee in 1948, and which takes its name from the vehicle’s impressive 120mph top speed. At the time of its launch, this was the fastest standard production car in the world.

Another highlight is a 1970 E-Type. Exceedingly rare and sought after by collectors from all over the world, when released the legendary Enzo Ferrari called it “The most beautiful car in the world”.

Members of the Bike Boyz Malta club will exhibit muscle and race bikes, sport touring bikes and other models.

Furthermore, the Valletta Waterfront is inviting anyone that owns and rides a motorcycle to join in this activity and meet other bikers.

Roaring Sundays are organised with the collaboration of the Malta Motorsport Federation, Paqpaq TV and M-150 energy drink.
