Girgenti draws the crowds

Visitors were allowed a rare look at the interior of the Inquisitor's Palace in Girgenti over the weekend in an event held to raise funds for three mental health associations: the Richmond Foundation, the Friends of the Mount Carmel Hospital Society and the Mental Health Association.

Activities for all the family were held in the beautiful grounds of the palace, built by Inquisitor Onorto Visconti in 1625 and now the country residence of the Prime Ministers of Malta. The event raised over €16,000 for the cause.
