Unesco Club's Indian evening

Unesco Club (Malta), as part of the activities to mark its 40th anniversary, recently organised an Indian evening consisting of Indian music and dancing, a fashion show and Indian food.

This evening was held at St Joseph's Home, St Venera, with the collaboration of the Indian-Maltese community to raise funds to enable boys from the home to travel to Germany. Thanks to the evening's proceeds, four boys will now joining the group on their holiday abroad. Many Indian families prepared food for the evening, while younger members of the community provided the singing and dancing, and the modelling for the fashion show.
