Girgenti Palace is open to the public today between 10 a.m and 4 p.m. in aid of the Mental Health Association, Richmond Foundation and Friends of Mount Carmel Hospital Society.

Visitors will be able to view the historic interiors of the palace and the surrounding grounds. There will be an art exhibition by Maltese artists, some of whom will be painting on location. A children's corner will be set up as well as a plant sale and cake stand. This is the second time the palace is being opened to the public and the event is being held under the patronage of the Prime Minister's wife Kate Gonzi.

Entrance to the palace for adults and children over 12 will be against a donation of €3.
