Chiara has taken a week off to recharge her batteries and ensure that when she hits Moscow in two weeks' time to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest she will be well rested.

She is now focusing on the last minute promotions. She hit The Netherlands yesterday and returns to Belgium today, following a warm welcome at Dar Malta recently where Malta's Ambassador to Belgium Pierre Clive Agius held a reception for her compatriots.

Interviewed by eurovision.tv, Chiara said she had not been working on her act and was waiting to get on stage in Moscow: "Since I'm on my own, I need to be on stage to get that feeling and come out with my act."

Chiara's relaxed attitude comes with the experience of having competed twice and achieving a good placing on both occasions. Her only concern is slipping on stage, since it is almost entirely made up of different types of LED screens. Chiara leaves for Moscow on May 2 and will perform her song What If We during the first semi-final of the 54th Eurovision on May 12 against 18 other countries. If she makes it, she will go on to compete in the final on May 16.
