Live cookery sessions at Domestica

Culinary expert Concita Demicoli will be running a live cookery course at the Domestica Showroom, Birkirkara.

The course, spread over eight weeks begins on Tuesday and is perfect for all food-lovers who enjoy live demonstrations. "This initiative fits within the Domestica living experience of offering a fun, quality lifestyle for the whole family. We are happy to welcome Ms Demicoli to our showroom," Domestica director Francesca Cassar said.

Everyone is welcome, although booking beforehand is necessary due to limited seating.

The sessions begin at 6 and end at 8 p.m. Babysitting services will be available free of charge. Topics covered will include a number of all-time favourite classics and will range from savoury to sweet.

A selection of her recipes can be found at concita@demicoli.com.

"I decided to hold this course after a substantial number of people who follow my blog kept enquiring about the possibility of live demonstrations. This is intended to be an informal way of finding out more about how delicious food can be prepared at home. The idea is to have fun while learning something new. There will be a special session for chocolate-lovers and I will also be covering special desserts like meringues and éclairs. Those who are on a low or a no-carb diet will also find a lot of interesting recipes," Ms Demicoli said.
