I refer to Anthony Saliba's letter entitled April Fool's Day Message From Provider (April 14).

Go informs readers that, April 1, its mobile arm, Go Mobile, sent out an SMS to its customers informing them of the activation of that month's free talk-time offer.

The talk-time bundle was actually activated on the same day before the SMS was sent. Go Mobile customers - benefiting from the offer - could avail themselves of the free talk-time when calling other Go Mobile numbers, as specified in the SMS text.

The offer is exclusively applicable on calls to Go Mobile numbers. Calls to other numbers are charged at the applicable rates. In view of Mobile Number Portability, Go advises customers to call 180 whenever they are in doubt as to whether a particular mobile number is subscribed to Go Mobile's network.
