Malta's U-21 team will play a friendly against Tunisia on Tuesday at the Ta' Qali training grounds.

The match, kicking off at 6 p.m., is intended to pep up the team's preparations for the next UEFA Championship qualifier away to Ukraine and for the Mediterranean Games, to be held in Pescara.

Tunisia U-21 will also be taking part in the Mediterranean Games between June 26 and July 5.

Malta U-21, under the guidance of new coach Edwin Camilleri, started their UEFA Championship qualifiers last month.

They were beaten 2-0 by Slovenia in a match played at the Hibs Ground.
