Man to be arraigned over Birkirkara hold-up
A man is to be arraigned in court today in connection with the hold-up at Birkirkara on Monday, the police said.
The owner of a mobile phones shop was shot and suffered injuries to one of his hands when he chased a hooded man out of his shop in Psaila Street.
A man was reportedly arrested after he called at a police station, claiming his car had been stolen and used in a hold-up. He was kept under arrest after gun residue tests which test whether somebody would have been near a gun when it was fired.

Malta CSI. Well done. If only more scientists are attracted to police forensics, we could expect increased security.
