Premier League clubs were against the decision that both semi-finals of the 2009 FA Cup will be played at Wembley this weekend.

It seems, the FA was driven to take such a measure to increase cash in its coffers and make up for the huge debt incurred to build the new stadium in North London.

The semi-finals scheduled for this weekend are: Arsenal vs Chelsea (Saturday) and Everton vs Manchester United (Sunday).

The FA Cup final will be played on May 30.
