Chris Friggieri, banqueting supervisor at The Westin Dragonara Resort, placed second out of a total approximately 7,500 nominations received from tourists nominating almost 850 different people in the MTA Star Awards.

Mr Friggieri was also nominated the Westin employee of the year for 2008.
