Billboards distract drivers

While driving on the Birkirkara bypass, one tends to forget there are speed cameras because so many banners are attached to lampposts together with the advertising billboards set up between the speed camera signs.

It is bad enough that drivers still have to get used to all the speed cameras that have been installed throughout the island but these billboards definitely don't help. Mepa should have them removed at once as they don't only catch the drivers' attention, which could lead to an accident, but also distract them from the warnings that they are about to approach a speed camera.
