A truck flipped on its side on the Birkirkara Bypass as it was being driven towards Msida this afternoon, causing a traffic jam. No one was hurt.

In the morning, minor traffic accidents caused by the slippery roads caused congestion in December 13 Road and the Sta Venera Bypass, causing the police to warn motorists to avoid those roads.

The congestion quickly eased.
