The weekly TV chat show Xarabank raised €254,635 for Puttinu Cares Foundation in a special three-hour television programme on Good Friday, which saw the participation of over 250 volunteers, including Mater Dei Hospital staff. The programme featured success stories of children who won their battle against cancer, while pointing out that 80 per cent of such patients did not recover completely.
