Foreign Minister Tonio Borg is this week to lead a Maltese delegation for talks in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.

Informed sources said the talks will focus on bilateral relations, notably trade. Double taxation agreements are to be discussed with Jordan and Lebanon, which import food products from Malta.

The talks will also feature regional peace and security issues.
